Hello everyone,

Today I am not looking to trade at all because I dislike trading on thin-volume dates such as Christmas, August, national holidays, my birthday (haha!), etc. One of the characteristics of thin-volume markets is that they suffer from either A) dull and tight trading ranges or B) unexpected spikes due to price manipulation. I equally dislike both!

As you probably have noticed on your respective calendars, today is Veterans’ Day in the US so I wouldn’t be surprised if Wall Street traders pay more attention to their barbeques than to their charts, and I am going to follow suit myself. There are plenty of trading days throughout the year, so there’s no need to mess with the Veterans’ Day.

Cheers and I hope you enjoy the day off!
